Established by British-born Ghanaian director/producer, Eugene "Pebbles" Akiwumi, Ophini is an energetic independent production company creating dynamic new television formats and developing compelling feature projects. In addition to its focus on boundary-extending TV concepts, the company is involved in the development of software applications that expand and enhance content consumption across platforms.

Eugene Akiwumi’s portfolio of innovative, thought-provoking productions include the controversial safe-sex campaign for World Aids Day, and branding overhauls for record companies, internet firms and industrial groups, among others.

As a partner in Mobiz, Stockholm, Akiwumi has been responsible for the development of new media content, convergent mobile telephony and television platform delivery.
